I don't recall if I've posted about this or not. but my shiny widescreen monitor that I got last January has been having problems connecting to my CPU. Well, tonight I finally got around to trying to hook up Roommate C's spare monitor to see if that would work better, and I could finally finish my family's Xmas card.
...The good news is that it's not my monitor that's the problem. *headdesk*
C has suggested that it's probably the video card, and at least that's less than I paid for the monitor, so I'm willing to accept that. He's also pretty willing to do the repairs himself, possibly for free. TY, roommate T^Tb
(Tomorrow-ish, he's planning to open up my tower to take a look and find out what size video card I take. I'm half expecting him to find a literal computer bug in there. It would be nice to blame this on something like that, and also hilarious.)
