apparently there is not an obvious run-with-this for my brain in your newest segment, which does not make any reasonable sense, and I am annoyed at myself accordingly

Hmm. Well, taking stock of where we are now, here's some more potential inspiration points:

* What's Plagg up to? Did he stay with Adrien after all, or did he strike out on his own?
* It's pretty clear that Lila has Toora under her dubious charms; what happens when the two of them meet up with Team Hawkmoth? Because there's going to be interesting developments for Hawkmoth's protege, the rebel among his kwami children, and his rebellious actual child out of this mess
* Nino and Alya still need their Miraculouses for the Big Showdown
* (By my vote, so does Chloe, because if nothing else, we can absolutely count on her to be on Team Adrien, but at least acknowledgement/discussion of whether she should be included or not would be good, IMO)
* Team Hawkmoth still hasn't quite put the city under siege just yet, as near as I can tell, but it's coming up
* Just when exactly did Adrien set that timer to send Alya the link?

And if that still doesn't get you going, I can probably do another scene or two and see where that gets us.

Actually, while I'm at it, while Gabriel has clearly told Adrien about Emilie, neither of us has really addressed her in all of this yet, if that helps at all.

H'okay, I just edited the last three words I wrote to "I'll show you" instead of "Tikki, spots on!", so that should give you more freedom there as well (while still allowing the option to have Marinette transform then and there, if you want to use it).
