soc_puppetI meant to be productive tonight. I really, really did! I planned to go to the library for at least two-and-a-half hours and at least get some work done on my editing!
Except I also posted a query about podfic on Tumblr, and whether it was permissible to start asking about pinch-hitters for a charity bid about a year after the original offerer ghosted. And a podficcer contacted me, said "Yes, it's absolutely fine to see if anyone else is interested in filling your request now, would you like me to put the word out on Twitter where all the podficcers hang out and see if anyone is interested?"
Naturally my answer was very yes please, thank you thank you thank you ♥.
Anyway, from there I had to provide links to the fics in question, and as long as I was doing that anyway, well, I may as well fit in a quick re-read to remind myself what I thought was so awesome about them, right? Makes perfect sense!
Except how they're completely different in tone from the fic I meant to edit tonight, and now I'm zinging with "Yay, my podfic is coming (in a few months maybe)!" energy.
Bleh. Okay, Socchan, maybe now that everyone knows what you're up against you can actually think about getting some work done? Great! Let's get to it!
