It's so much easier just to not write about her than to figure out a way to include her meaningfully (meaningfully to me, that is), so that's usually the way I go.

Gabriel I tend to have to address more directly, but even him I can usually write around rather than include. Unless the fic specifically involves taking him down, of course (or, as in projected All the Names continuations, actually leading him by the nose to redemption).

Far easier to focus on the stuff I'm actually interested in, such as: Those two dorks pining at each other, their various identity shenanigans, magical shenanigans, and any other love interests I want to throw their way.
