DW doesn't necessarily even have to host more media (though they do already have some capacity); I just want it to be easier and more intuitive for new users. My priority is blatantly and transparently to lure a greater number of Tumblr users and fans on other social media sites over here, because this is the style of platform that I like, but as you've pointed out before, they ain't commin' without better image interface.
AO3 already has fandom's attention. Expanding their services would be incredible, but I still want a place to be social with other fans, and Tumblr... is not idea, for that place.
