Fuck my life. Am I seriously having an actual period right now? Really?
According to my private health tracking journal, I've been doing some amount of uterine bleeding for two thirds of every month since I started this particular hormonal birth control pill. If what I'm going through right now is actually my next period, it will be my fourth since the start of the year! That's four periods in two-and-a-half months!
Aside from some extra spotting, things started out relatively okay, with my cramps going from "can wake me from my sleep" to "mildly irritating, if extant at all", which, well, for my first month on a new birth control regimen, some weirdness is to be expected, right? And the cramps were what I wanted to get rid of most, anyway; spotting is annoying, but not exactly painful.
Except I went from spotting a few days in a row, effectively in the middle between periods, to spotting almost constantly, with difficulty rising as to being able to tell whether I'm actually starting my period in the first place. And now I'm on possibly my fourth period in ten weeks, less than two weeks after my previous one ended, and I just... No. No more.
Thank god I have my new birth control follow-up appointment on Monday, because this is just... not okay.
