Health update

soc_puppetHad my actual BC follow-up appointment today. It was a doozy!
I reported my four-periods-in-ten-weeks thing, and also showed her a calendar where I'd marked down every day I'd had at least some sort of bleeding or menstrual discharge, and she took one look at the calendar and was like, "Yeah, that's too much bleeding. That is not good. You are going off that pill right now, and also we're going to order you an ultrasound so we can have a better idea what's going on in there, because too much bleeding." So I'm getting that scheduled!
We also had a brief conversation where I confirmed that she does not believe that my excess bleeding is caused by me being fat, nor are my (benign) thyroid nodules, and generally that we're both on Team Fat Acceptance and she's there to treat me, not my fat, which was very good to hear ♥
I also got set up for a small blood test, just to make sure that all my extra uterus bleeding hasn't turned me anemic. I'll be going back in to get an annoying skin tag removed and also to talk over ultrasound results in a couple of weeks. I look forward to more information!
