Me, logging into my FF.net account finally after having read some weeks before that the site is likely on its last legs: I can't believe I remembered my password. Uh, go me? I should probably change it before I leave again, though...
Me: ...Sweet mercy, the last time I updated my profile on here, GeoCities was still around.

Anyway. Still debating whether or not to import my old FF.net stories to AO3 wholesale (I think I can do that?), but I'm leaning gently towards "yes". I may not want to look at them very much to edit anything FF.net has borked over the twelve years since I last logged in, but it's definitely something I'm probably going to maybe do.

I just have to remember that it's not the most embarrassing work I've ever written, or that can be found online somewhere with appropriate digging, and I'll be fine, I'm sure.

The really hard part will be if I decide to do any editing. Deciding whether or not is already a headache; the editing itself will be, uh, kinda, er, welp. But if I don't edit anything, who knows what sort of state it will transfer in, and apparently the idea that they'll be rendered unreadable bothers me, too! I was posting to FF.net before the asterisk ban. I don't reliably remember how borked any of my stories will have been made!

Bleh. Stupid FF.net dying. Why couldn't you just be the Eternal Pit of Voles, so I didn't have to worry about this?
