The only thing I really dislike about my melatonin gummies is when I forget to take one until after I've already brushed my teeth. They are not, alas, sugar-free.

Definitely going on a more thorough hunt for tablets the next time I'm running low.

They exist at my local pharmacy. Tablets/capsules of multiple varieties are easily found here, and I know you don't know me from a hole in the anime panel floor, but if you'd trust me to send a bottle of them your way, I would gladly do so.

😂 Bless you for the offer, but I misspoke! I can and have found melatonin tablets before, and even at my most recent trip to buy some. The problem is that, shortly before said most recent trip, I learned that a lot of supplement companies pump their stuff full of nasty fillers, and might not even have the chemicals the label claims are on them, because they're not under any particular federal jurisdiction in the US. So what I really meant was, after doing research, I didn't find any tablets made by my now preferred brands at either the local grocery chain I went to, or the closest CVS. I only checked two stores that night, because it was getting late and I wanted to get back home, but if I cast my net a little wider, I should find something that fits my requirements ♥

Hmmm. My immediate reaction was, 'Can they be swallowed whole?' Perhaps they have to be chewed in order to have the right release rate, though?

Well, they don't look much bigger than my multivitamins, but I'm not exactly examining them side-by-side.

Moot point anyway, I stopped by the local co-op and got their store brand melatonin tablets for the days I forget. I will most likely be doing all my supplement shopping there in the future, 'cuz they have good prices, and I'm inclined to trust them with their chemistry.
