That makes perfect sense! I saw the movie before I read the book, so they slotted into different categories in my brain 👍 But I never watched the Disney movies as a kid so learning that (at least supposedly) the Aladdin movie is inspired by/based on (?) the second Howl & Sophie book definitely made me even less interested in the movie.
