Got cut at work; had to get stitches on my thumb. Otherwise fine. Wearing a thumb brace for at least a day, so typing will be slow/low priority for me.

Ouch! Anything that requires stitches is a bit scary. I hope it heals up well and quickly. Cuts on hands are also generally super frustrating, because you use your hands for so much!

I am currently realizing that I mostly use my injured thumb for any spacebar needs in typing. Subbing in my uninjured thumb is... interesting.

Curse you, spacebar! I've discovered that I typically do use my right thumb for the spacebar, except when I've just used a period or a comma, at which point I use my left thumb. Weird!

It stinks, but the cut missed anything important for movement, so it could have been a lot worse. My biggest concern is keeping it clean, I think; I'll be using gloves to go to the bathroom for a couple of weeks 😂
