Tetris Blanket!

Here's the pic I promised :3b

A lot of the Tetris blankets I saw when I Google Image Searched for 'em were just the block space, but I was like, Where's the fun in that? So I made the entire board. And then an additional row of gray squares on the top and bottom, to border it properly.
I took the liberty of picking up some nice black fleece at Jo-Ann's after dinner this evening, so that'll be going on the back :3b I'm looking forward to it being finished, and then selling the fuck out of it on Etsy ♥ (I'm still reading through the legal stuff there, but I am so much closer to having an account than I was at the beginning of the month.)
I'm planning to make the score 9001 and the level 42, unless there's a funnier level for some memetastic reason I'm unfamiliar with. "A blanket to warm the heart of any geek - and most of the rest of them as well." [/salespersonship]
Incidentally, I also got a very worried sounding e-mail this morning from PhotoBucket, where I keep most of my pics. It was warning me that I only had 3GB left of my 10GB monthly bandwidth for this month!!1!eleventy!
Me: Pfft, like I'm going to get 3GB worth of traffic on the last friggin' day of the month. Oh no, how terrible! I'll just have to wait until tomorrow.
Yeah. Good luck on selling me stuff next time, PhotoBucket. And by "good luck" I mean, "Ahahahahahahahah!"
For my birthday, I got many well wishes, a dinner out with my parents, sparkly yarn, and a Bamboo Capture drawing tablet (that I have yet to actually hook up). I'm looking forward to seeing what it can do :)
I have somewhat more mixed feelings on the yarn. It's Red Heart Holiday red-with-silver and white-with-silver and kinda lumpy. While I was already planning to make an ice dragon with white-with-silver yarn, I'm not sure whether the texture will work for me here. If it does, which I am sincerely hoping it will, that still leaves the question of what on earth I could make that's red with silver sparklies. Maybe Wizard-of-Oz-style slippers? (Actually, that could be pretty good...) IDK :/ Any thoughts?

Date: 2011-12-01 08:00 am (UTC)I just checked my photobucket bandwidth status. I've used 49 MB in Novemver, which equates out to approximately 0% of my available bandwidth. I should use my account more, maybe.

Date: 2011-12-01 12:44 pm (UTC)I can't tell - is it decorative blanket sized or wrap-up-a-person sized? Either way, awesome!!

Date: 2011-12-01 07:16 pm (UTC)It's about 4.5'x5.5'/1.35m*1.65m, so it could probably wrap up a single average-sized person.

Date: 2011-12-01 07:17 pm (UTC)I'm not, yet; I haven't actually nosed around there much, to tell the truth, though I have just recently heard good things about its search capabilities (IIRC). Time to give it some thought, perhaps.
