Records and car update

soc_puppetI am having a pretty good time sorting things out in the Record Room at the moment! Right now my main task is matchmaking loose records with empty record books, and stacking records that are in loose sleeves. I'm lining them up against the back wall, and have made a decent amount of progress, to judge by how much of the big table in the middle of the room is now visible. I should be able to move at least one box of stuff out of the laundry room soon-ish (possibly this weekend?), on the basis that said box contains a bunch more empty record albums 😂 This work is also mindless/automatic enough that I can listen to my podcasts while doing it, woot! Exactly my jam.
In car news, my mechanic has diagnosed my problem as the starter. Unfortunately, they won't be able to get a replacement until Friday, so I'll be borrowing Mom's car the next couple of days. If I'm really lucky, the part will come in early on Friday, and I'll be able to pick up my car that afternoon. If I'm less lucky, I'll be able to pick up my car on Monday. Fingers crossed for an early pickup, but I'm not holding my breath.
That's all for now, I think! Now it's time to start my bedtime routine.
