A nifty idea

A ...fandom mentee, of sorts, just asked me if it would be weird/a Dreamwidth faux pas to put up a random "fandom tree" type post to keep open year round, and honestly I kinda love the idea? Like, it's not something I've seen before, but I think it would be really neat to have a pinned wish list kind of post. So if you ever want to just... visit random blogs, or do something nice for one of your circlemates, or whatever, you can just hop over and check their pinned posts and see if there's a little something nice you can do for them.
Anyway, it's not something I'm going to get around to doing myself tonight, but I do think it would be pretty cool to start doing. I might open the suggestion up for discussion on
fictional_fans, as well. ...My day off just keeps getting more and more stuff loaded onto it.
Like. Just make a pinned wish list post with stuff you're into, particularly fandom-ish stuff, with comments open for people to give you things or something? And then make an epic squee post whenever someone does give you something, and tag it "wish list" or whatever. And also make posts whenever you update your wish list, to keep your circlemates in the loop, and tag those "wish list" as well. So you can keep track of your own fandom history and stuff.
Anyway, some thoughts! More coherent post possibly forthcoming when I have time off.
