Sticker Shock

Car is back from the shop. Repairs cost $1900, and that was after the owner knocked $300 off for my family being such good, long-time customers, and changing the front breaks for free. I did submit the receipt for a $60 rebate for the tires I got replaced, but... yeah. My bank account is very sad right now. It's not in the negatives, but is only about 1/3 as full as it was this morning.

Going through my state's "How to start a business" tutorial has definitely jumped up a couple of notches in priority.

I'm honestly grateful I had the money, but yowza that stung. I may ask about taking more hours at work, as well.

Oh shoot D: I'm sorry! Hopefully no more major expenses for a bit.

That's what I'm hoping for as well! At least a year or two with nothing major would be nice, since I had two major repairs needed this year.

I just have to keep repeating to myself: "It's cheaper than a new (to me) car, and less painful than an accident." It doesn't make things entirely better, but it does help!
