Spent a couple of hours putting together community advertisements, which drained my mental batteries hardcore. So I followed it up by going physical and changing my sheets 😂 It's important to balance those scales, after all.

My new sheets are white, which isn't my first choice, but they were on sale, and it's hard to find Twin XL sheets in physical stores in the first place. I thought a while abut dying them, but honestly the old sheets needed off sooner than I needed the new ones to be a different color, and my only other fitted sheet options are either A) Ripped and therefore not usable as sheets, or B) Flannel, and therefore ill advised for summer use. And it is definitely summer weather time. The new sheets are not quite as light/cooling as I might like for summer weather, but they still do the trick better than flannel.

Ever since I inherited my grandma's linen sheets, I've embraced white sheets especially for summer. Cotton is nice but linen is HEAVENLY (and expensive as something that's expensive), so inherited ones are already worn soft and just PERFECT.

Also I salute your executive dysfunction with mine. I should change my bed, too.

Oh man, linen sheets, I wish! Pretty sure mine are plain cotton, which is better than artificial fibers, but still. My main concern with white sheets, though, is staining; I have generally less staining to worry about since I got my IUD put in and my period tends to be smudgy at most, but old habits die hard. I, uh, also tend to sweat more than the average person, and anticipate learning what that looks like on my white sheets sometime as summer goes on 😓

I've been managing to change my bedding every other month minimum, when I rotate my mattress, but I'm definitely aiming to increase that to twice a month when I can. Ganbatte!

But with white sheets you can use bleach and not worry about colours! (I have some that have been stained beyond any hope *period fistbump*, but nowadays I dry them outside in the sun and Don't Care. Sunlight tends to fade most stains, also blood and sweat.))
