Jane

Jane is the foster dog my family's looking after ♥ My mom's wanted to get into fostering for a close to a year now (definitely primarily as a Dad-friendly path to adoption, but also 'cuz she loves animals), but she didn't want to look after puppies, so this is the first animal that's been put into her care. Naturally, Mom and I are delighted (even if I don't get to see the dog very often), though Dad and my younger brother, Tomas, are a little more apathetic :(

Anywho, this is Jane:





Jane's a chocolate lab who was rescued from a hoarder in the area. It looks like she's had a couple litters already, and she doesn't look very old to our (quite untrained) eyes. She's shy as anything and was only barely starting to warm up to people when I saw her last, but she's got another two and a half weeks with Mom, so hopefully she'll be doing better by the time that's up. I'll certainly do my best whenever I see her. We've also got family coming into town in the near future, which should help her acclimate to more people. Go, go, socialization skills!


I'm hoping for the best for her, even if Mom doesn't get to keep her.
