Dad Update

soc_puppetDad is out of the hospital and doing well! Surgery went quite well, and he's got pretty low pain as long as he's not actively using the ankle in question. I expect that Mom and I will be doing our best to minimize said use for at least the next week or so, probably longer.

Date: 2025-12-24 05:17 pm (UTC)Things are going well with Dad so far! He's finding he doesn't need quite as much pain medication as he's been prescribed as yet, but he's also keen to get off of it. Alas, Mom is not quite as healthy as she sounds here; she had cancer twenty-five years ago, and her energy levels are probably only at around 80% of what they once were, even with age taken into account. Other than that, though, she's doing pretty well! So we're still kicking 👍
