So. It's a little after one a.m. and I have been here for, oh, closing in on two hours now reading fic. (And I'm starting to overheat, which is Not Good >_<) Got a little bored (yes, I _do_ believe in 'too much of a good thing', thank-you-very-much) and decided to post.
Got Bleach 3 this evening ^_^. Had to special order it at Prarie Lights, because it wasn't coming in anywhere. What, me bitter? Whatever gave you _that_ idea?
I'm not much of an interact-with-people person -_-. Sad, but true.
Anyway, fun volume. Have much Tatsuki love.
Had some computer problems this afternoon while uploading stuff to my yahoo briefcase. Should be posting a link sometime soon so I can show off my pretty artwork. And eventually tell the Dessert!Heiji story. Because, yanno, I've been dying to share it for a few months now, and telling friends who don't actually know the fandom that well just isn't the _same_.
Orchestra garage sale tomorrow. (For those who don't know, it's this charity thing that the City High orchestra arranges every year (so far, at least; Ms. Weibner swears she won't be doing this again next year, but she said that last year, too -_-;...). People donate clothes and toys and books and stuff, and other people come in and buy it, and all the money goes to support the orchestra. Orchestra students are obligated to come help out. On the plus side, we get first pick of the stuff :D) Helped out this evening and picked out several books (many for the childhood memories they envoked), a poster, and a T-shirt with Japanese on it to go home with. (It's a Japanese language club shirt, only I'm fairly certain Japanese is spelled wrong on it: it uses the character for 'tree' instead of the one for 'book/root' -_-; Still, Japanese stuff is Japanese stuff. (<--- is a desperate Japanese culture fangirl)) Dad picked out a whole bunch of stuff, too, and the entire bundle (about two boxes of stuff) officially cost less than twenty dollars--though we payed the whole twenty, 'cuz it's going to a good cause ^_~.
Speaking of orchestra, had a concert last night. It went really well, and the audience really liked the guest soloists we had. Learned that my stand partner is much more talented than I first guessed, but hates to keep track of the music ^^;. Unfortunately, in the piece I was in we were crammed so close together I barely had any bowing room and re-inforced several bad habits, including leaning over, a floppy bow arm, and (probably) crooked bowing. Piano lid was right in the way of the conductor, too, so I mostly saw only down beats and up beats >_<. Well, that and the music.
Final note, was surprised to discover that the piano soloist is actually a viola supporter/fan. Violas generally aren't as popular as, say, violins or celli (plural of cello) or bass. It was quite nice to find out.
If I could think of anything more to say, I would probably write it in hopes of finding distraction. Unfortunately, I can't. Oh, well.
