Aaaaargh =_= Stupid diplomatic such-and-such. I was really looking forward to going to talking to the Jr High kids about GLBT issues, too ;_; (<---- pet project for 2 years)

Still, not giving up! >( I don't care how long it takes, I will talk to Jr High kids about homophobia! *taking a stand*

(Yeah. Long story. Part One: socchan gets the idea, "Hey, we should go to SEJH, talk to the kids there about not being homophobic! They respect high-schoolers more than teachers, so it _should_ work. And it'll put a human face on the issues ^_^." Part Two: socchan shares the idea. Other people in GSA: "Hey, that's a good idea! Let's do that!" Part Three: People in GSA actually do planning stuff for visiting SEJH. SEJH principal says: "I'm sorry, you can't visit us here since your GSA is a City High club. You could hold it at City High, though, and we could put up posters." (CHS is about a mile (half a mile?) from SEJH -_- No kid is going to want to walk that, especially after school.) Part Four: "Well, since we can't hold it at SEJH, let's see if we can hold it at Mercer [right next door] so the kids won't have to walk so far." Part Five: Arrangements are made to hold meeting at Mercer. Part Six: (current) SEJH principal: "Oh, I'm sorry, did I say you could hang posters for this? Because you can't." GSA: >E)

Right now we're working on ideas for alternatives. We had to cancel the room we reserved at Mercer (there goes $20...) because the event would be _tomorrow_ if anyone knew about it. *sigh*

In other news, Mom got a lizard bite and is at the hospital, getting it stitched up. Let this be a lesson to you: you really, really do not want a pet green iguana.

In other other news, I have the sudden urge to write a DC fic in which everything goes wrong for Shin'ichi that possibly could go wrong (short of too many people dying), and thus he gets everything he ever wanted. I also have the urge to fic "Ran finds out about Shinichi" through Ayumi's eyes, just because. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to do either at the moment. Maybe I should just take a really long break and write another Heiji/Kazuha story or something...

I watched one of the last episodes in the YGO "Summoning The Dragons" arc...
At one point Yami (Yugi) Seto Kaiba, and Joey (I-can't-spell-his-japanese-name) Weeler is battling a huge monster/dragon that tries to absorb them...

It uses tentacles to grab them...

First thought as I saw that scene?

I'm a huge Ayumi fan, have been ever since she kcked kogoro in the second episode. I take it this would be Ayumi finds out when Ran finds out as well.

Okay, okay, I'll write the Ayumi!fic ^^; I don't know when, but it'll be written eventually. *shoves it together with the "everything goes wrong" idea and starts manipulating plot points so things make sense* I admit it, I've got a major soft spot for the kids :)
