Socchan: ...WTF. I thought songfics were okay, as long as the song was included in the disclaimer. Also, why isn't poetry mentioned here? It's at least as prevelent. Contradictory much?

So, over the next few days or so, I'll probably end up posting some old fic here. Just a warning.

Got three pages of Prince Ichi finished today ^___^ It's a personal best. If I can get just two pages a day done for the next week, I'll be out of the library a week before they shut it down on us. It's now officially done through page 41, with pages 52-55 also complete ^_^; Toldya I did things out of order. Just ten pages left to go. Starting countdown!

Told Mr. Hartwig that we should watch FMA for class after we finish Frankenstein. Didn't get too far explaining, but after class, a peer came up to me and agreed ^___^ We both think the class should watch episode three together, because it totally fits.
I officially need to make more hair ties, so I can give one to her ^_^ <3

Oh, yeah, and Nick has finally decided who he's cosplaying as ^___^ He's going to be Bradley! :D :D :D (Manga!Bradley. Because the lot of us are more familiar with the manga, really.) And Trevor's having issues. He no longer wants to be Armstrong =_= He'd rather be Scar. Unfortunately for him, we already have a Scar. Sorry, Trevor--you're out of luck! Maybe we can get him a short-haired wig and make him Havoc, instead...

Once upon a time I read an article on FF.N. It was from the creator and he was talking about the freedom of writing over the contrversy adn I was happy ^.^

Then they banned NC-17 fics. Despite the fact that the article said they wouldn't. But I could understand that. Any 7 year old can click on teh "Yes I'm 18" button, which could cause problems.

Then they banned MiST's. O.o

Then the rating sytem

Now Songfics.

Anyone else seeing a very scary trend.....

And ABout FMA/Frankenstien. O.O ...why didn't I think of that?

If you've ever seen Chirin no Suzu (Ringing Bells here in teh States) It's very comparable to Franz Kafka's metamorphisis

They also banned Real Person fics =_= I mean, I can understand that, but still.
I'm counting down until they ban fanfic all together, and only keep fictionpress.com up.

I think nekokoban might've mentioned it once, actually, but hearing about it and actually reading the book and thinking about FMA are two entirely different things ^_^;

Never have seen Chirin no Suzu/Ringing Bells; may have to look into that.

Episode three is when they do the (first?) flashback to when Ed and Al were kids and give backstory about them trying to bring back their mom and learning alchemy and stuff. I felt it was especially relevant to the book.

And you can absolutely have one ^__^ Once I finish making them and get your address, that is.

I was rather hoping we could use your copy ^_^ (as I don't know where wI could find another) if we manage to convince him.

Tell ya what; we get to school early on Monday, and double-team him before first hour >D Unless you have gym. Then we'll have to put it off 'til Tuesday or something. And together, we might be able to convince him to let us watch it for class ^_____^ We might have to make him pre-screen the episode first, of course, but still... *plots evil ways she can drag her teacher(s) into otakudom*

*shrugs* FF.net was good for what it was; it just never was much. It's not supposed to be impressive--it's supposed to be easy to get on; a good starting point. And now it's going all restrictey on us >_< Things are supposed to get _better_ over time, not _worse_-!

Somehow, I can't stop having a mental image of Trisha Elric as Frankenstein's Monster now O.o

It's right up there with the image of Ed being happy he is small, because he can get into the amusement park for free, and then being angry for not being able to try the rides ^.^;;

Yeah, I remember when I thought that Frankenstein was the monster and not the doctor... Then I read the title more closely and though: "How the Hell can the monsters name be Frankenstein if he's Frankenstein's monster?"

On a complete sidenote, you have to love Igor. Also, if Trisha is the Bride of Frankenstein, would that make Hoenheim (sp?) Frankenstein's monster? And I have a weird mental image of Gluttony (sp?) as Igor O.o

I'm pretty sure that the return-addy on the DVD's is gonna be my boyfriend's, since he is the one who's sending the package. But I can always send you an e-mail with my address ^.^

Yup, definately must love Igor. Can't not love the guy. Yeah, I think that _would_ make Hoenheim the monster; you have to admit, it's almost uncannily accurate.

E-mail's good. (Just finished the sewing a little while ago ^_^ All that's left to do is draw the flamels on, now.)
