Kyaaa~! ^____^
Jul. 30th, 2005 07:52 pmGuess what came in the mail today? ♥ I'll give you a hint~♥ It's from Denmark ^____^ ♥♥♥
That's right! A package from MoF ^______^ With Maria-sama ga Miteru anime eps ♥ and AMVs ♥♥ and a letter with a picture of Choco Ramen, the Plot Hamster ♥♥♥ (He's so cute ^_^ I will put him in a picture frame by the computer ^_^)
Thank you so much, Imoutochan (and Imoutochan's BF ^_~)
Kyaaa, Yumi-chan, Sachiko-sama, Sei-sama, I'm coming~!
Edit: Okay, the DVDs are, of course, region two. Which I was really expecting, but it didn't occur to me to mention until they were already undergoing the burning process. But never mind! This gives me an excuse to go out hunting for a region two DVD player! Or, failing that, to sit Pat down and make her watch the damn series with me on her laptop.
Edit 2: Tried to play on the computer, on the basis that, hey, it might work. And lo and behold, it does! Sorta. Um. Could I get some good decompressor recs? So I can kinda, yanno, see a lot of the visual stuff? Possibly?
Edit 3: Right. Found some decompressors. Marimite plays now, and everything would be hunky-dory, except... I can't get any images. It's all talking, no picture. It's like listening to a drama CD or something (which wouldn't be so bad if I understood something more like half the language and could recognize voices better). So, any suggestions for a good codec to help me watch .avi files?
