Drabble: The Trust Game
Fandom: Detective Conan
Summary: Motorcycle fluff
Riding a motorcycle, Kazuha reflected, was a lot like playing the trust game.
You had to trust that the driver knew what he was doing.
You had to trust the driver not to crash.
You had to allow yourself to fall and had to hope the other person caught you before you hit the ground.
Kazuha turned her head and pressed her right cheek to Heiji's back, out of the wind. Heiji sped up and turned a corner, the motorcycle dipping toward the ground, and Kazuha tightened her hold around Heiji's waist.
Heiji made the trust game easy to play.
Kenchan gave me a ride home on her motorcycle last Friday. Having not ridden even a bike in some years, I found it fun, but scary. The comparison between being a motorcycle passenger and playing the trust game ran through my head around the third or fourth time we turned a corner ^^;
Next time, I want to bring goggles.
