Fic: Very Sweet (worksafe version): 1/1
Mar. 3rd, 2005 08:35 pmSo. I promised yuri today, and damned if I won't deliver. Still haven't finished the lemon version, but managed to make it to a decent cut-off point for the non-lemon version. Will be editing more or less as I go along ^^;, so bear with me.
Fandom: Magic Kaito
Summary: Aoko and Akako and dessert. SHOUJO-AI/YURI WARNING.
Blame:
nekokenchan, for mentioning Sex in a Pan. And then telling me it was a Plunny waiting to happen. Which it was.
Note: Featured dessert is probably not actually Sex in a Pan, as I didn't take the time to get the recipe from Pat when I asked for the description. I didn't know I'd be needing it at the time ^^;

Nakamori Aoko surveyed the settling dessert with a critical eye. Layers of chocolate and vanilla pudding rested on a toasted graham cracker crust, the whole thing topped with a mountain of whipped cream and sprinkled liberally with chocolate shavings. With a decisive air she stated, "I'm going to kill Kaito."
Akako tilted her head, curious. "For exploding the dessert so we had to make it all over again after school?" she queried, "Or for not even sticking around to help clean up?"
Aoko scowled at the dishes drying on the rack. "Both."
Akako dried her hands on a dish towel and wandered over to stand next to Aoko. "You of all people should know that's just how he is," Akako said gently. "And then there was Hakuba-kun chasing him on top of that."
Aoko looked away guiltily. She wasn't used to feeling jealous, especially over her best friend. The fact that it was only Akako's attention that ever made her feel that way only made it worse. "I know," she admitted, "It's just--frustrating, sometimes."
Akako 'hmm'ed thoughtfully. "Yes, I suppose it is. Still, it's also rather charming, don't you think?" Aoko battled briefly with a fresh wave of jealousy and forced herself to look away from the other girl; her eyes landed on the dessert pan. Akako noticed. "You think it's done yet?"
Aoko sighed wistfully. "Probably not. And even if it were, we have to save it for tomorrow, right?" She glanced back to Akako, who suddenly had a mischievous glint in her eyes. "What?"
"I saved the mixing spoons," she said with a wink, holding them out. "Chocolate pudding or whipped cream?"
Touched by the unexpected gesture, Aoko reached out and accepted the whipped cream spoon. "Thanks," They spent the next few minutes in silence, cleaning the mixing spoons.
Aoko finished first. Setting her spoon down, she turned to Akako. "Thanks," she said again, "That was very sweet of you."
Akako smiled and nodded, setting her own spoon aside. There was a strange glint in her eyes. "You have whipped cream on your face," she pointed out mildly.
Aoko flushed. "Where is it?"
Calmly, Akako lifted Aoko's chin and leaned toward her. Aoko could hear her heart beating in her ears suddenly, and she wondered if it wasn't the attention Kaito was getting that she was jealous of, but the attention he was getting from Akako. "Right here," Akako said softly, and painted a line just below Aoko's mouth with her tongue.
Aoko's lips parted in shock and Akako's tongue slipped between them, her mouth pressing hungrily close. Faintly Aoko could taste chocolate pudding and whipped cream, warm and wet and sweet.
She was still flushed when Akako drew back; Akako looked faintly smug, but Aoko couldn't bring herself to care. "Thank you," Aoko said hesitantly, reaching for the lost thread of conversation, "...I don't think you quite got all of it, though. Maybe if you tried again...?" she added, hopefully.
Akako was more than happy to comply.

This story was written for several reasons:
* The weird mood I've been in that practically begs for me to do something uncharacteristic
* The depressing lack of yuri in the DC community
* The fact that what yuri exists is usually Aoko/Akako as a background note/side pairing--which is why they got the spotlight for this fic ^^v
All things considered, I think it turned out fairly well.
Anyway, lemon version coming eventually. I'll try and have it up by my Sunday at the latest (Saturday will be busy--I'm going to a GSA conference in Des Moines ^^v The car ride will take a while, so maybe I'll be able to get some work done on the way; considering the company, I don't know that they'd mind me writing lesbian pr0n, though considering the company again, it would be terribly embarrassing to write it badly in such circumstances ^^;;;) Again, ask to read if you're interested and not on the flist.
Also, encourage me to write more: comment. Thanks ^^v

The other Yuri pairing I can see in DC is Sonoko/Ran. Because they've got the whole Tomoyo/Sakura vibe going for them. #^^#

... up until about six months ago, I thought no one was interested in the B/W pairing. And then BOOM! Lookit where we are now. More fans of the pairing than you can shake a stick at. ^^;; Never know until you reach out and say 'Hey!' #^^#

Date: 2005-03-06 06:51 pm (UTC)For some reason, livejournal.com on this computer is in French. Too bad I don't speak a word of it...
If you ever want me to look over something real quick that's not one of the Kaitou Kids fics, feel free to send it my way.
...heh. Ever see Highlander? (Picturing Kaitou Kid as an immortal. Oy.)

Date: 2005-03-07 12:14 am (UTC)Don't look to me for French lessons; I can say 'hello', 'thank you', and possibly count to three, and that's all I remember from third grade.
Thanks; I think I may do that sometime...
Regrettably, no ;_; It's on my 'To Watch Sometime Soon' list, though. (I know enough to know that that would give someone a _real_ headache >_<)
