I went with Tanuki because Cat-girl is overdone, and pretty much everything else has already been 'claimed'. Maybe I shoulda just gone with 'normal'.

I am sorely tempted to make this lead up into a "Socchan and the Isle of the Plot Bunnies" thing, but I doubt I could get away with it.

Lagomorpha = rabbits and hares. Leporidae = just rabbits. Inspiratus = Complete BS. Sounds about right for the scientific name of a plot bunny, though. Right?

Don't worry, registering isn't too hard, the worst part is picking classes. Just phone in your stuff, it takes like a minute for the person to do.
