A few quick things

I feel like everything good is happening to me today :D It's almost like my birthday's come early ^_^

First off, Salad Days, an online comic collaboration of the talents of one of my favorite artists and one of my favorite authors, has started ♥ It has hairy legs and realistically sized nozes. Go take a look! (Fan community: albatross_cafe)

Secondly, A Different Perspective has been updated! Naruto fic, eventual KakaIru (which, admittedly, is not one of my 'ships, but I'll read it when I think it's good), and amazing characterization, humor, and worldbuilding. I go back and re-read chapters frequently. If you are familiar with the fandom and haven't read it yet, go do so! If you regret it, you can take it out on me.

Ended up ten minutes late to math class because of a train, but I didn't really mind since, upon entering math class and starting to take notes, I noticed that my handwriting is back! It had been going downhill for a little while, turning much more sloppy than I'm used to, so I'm glad it's back. Plus, a person's handwriting says a lot about him or her, signatures especially.

Fourth, I guess, tentacle or giant wang? You decide! (This goes as a footnote to the fact that the CFUD calendar art due date has been pushed back to December fifteenth, which I am a little relieved over ^^;)

Fifth, Public Service Announcement on jeva_chan's LJ. This hits a little close to home for me, so I won't be copy/pasting it here, but it probably is something some people would like to do, so here ya go. And I do approve of the general "Don't rape!" message, it's just that I have my own opinions that don't always overlap here. [Edit]: Also! Anywhere it uses female pronouns or titles also applies for males, and vice versa. Men can be raped too, and women can rape (though it is admittedly harder without a dick). [/Edit]

Dear gods, I most sincerely *hope* that's a tentacle. **Ysabet hides beneath desk** I don't care if it's cooked, I still don't want it anywhere near me. Wooooo.

Chocolate ramen... I still need to try that. BUT! I made my first from-scratch batch of Kitsune Udon tonight-- I simmered the abura'age down and everything! A bit salty but GOOD (and then I ate the extra abura'age by itself, with a little kamaboko on the side 'cause I like the fishcakes, mmmm.)

Yes, you must! It is wonderful and full of crack, but in a way that melds seamlessly into the background! And it is hilarious! And inventive! And there just aren't enough words to describe its wondefulness. My KakaIru rant is a topic for another day, I believe.

It is so yummy ♥ I'm bringing it to traumatize share with my Composition class tomorrow ^_^ But I am jealous of your Kitsune Udon experience ;_; Still, I do have a recipe lying around here somewhere.
