Really Bad Idea

I was watching Mom prepare Hamilton's food this morning. (Green iguanas need fresh greens daily, and lettuce won't work ^_^; They're vegitarians :D Hamilton especially likes strawberries and squash.) Hamilton, who often accompanies her during this endeavor, was wandering over the kitchen table. After stopping to munch on the bleeding heart leaves from the boquet on the counter, he climbed up on the small television set.

Me: Oh, look! It's a monitor lizard!

Of course, this isn't nearly as bad as what's to come. While Mom was shredding squash for Hamilton, she chopped off a small piece for him to chew on. I watched him eat (because green iguanas are incredibly cute when eating ^__^ <3) and thought, What a glutton.
The thought taveled aimlessly through my mind for a few minutes before bumping suddenly into the cosplay plans of nekokenchan and myself for Anime Iowa this year.
Worst Idea Ever: Bringing Hamilton to the con, dressed as Gluttony =_=
(I'm going to be Izumi-sensei ^_________^ I'm going to bring along those chewable blood capsules that people sell around Hallowe'en, so I can pretend to cough up blood :D :D :D)

On that note, it's really disturbing to read Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (a.k.a. The Modern Prometheus) with FMA on the brain. I keep doing things like running across references to Paracelsus and trying not to grin, or comparing characters and circumstances >_> Does anyone else have this problem?

Socchan: ...WTF. I thought songfics were okay, as long as the song was included in the disclaimer. Also, why isn't poetry mentioned here? It's at least as prevelent. Contradictory much?

Socchan: ...*sigh* I guess I'd better start backing fic up here, just in case. The stuff I want saved, anyway.

So, over the next few days or so, I'll probably end up posting some old fic here. Just a warning.

Got three pages of Prince Ichi finished today ^___^ It's a personal best. If I can get just two pages a day done for the next week, I'll be out of the library a week before they shut it down on us. It's now officially done through page 41, with pages 52-55 also complete ^_^; Toldya I did things out of order. Just ten pages left to go. Starting countdown!

Told Mr. Hartwig that we should watch FMA for class after we finish Frankenstein. Didn't get too far explaining, but after class, a peer came up to me and agreed ^___^ We both think the class should watch episode three together, because it totally fits.
I officially need to make more hair ties, so I can give one to her ^_^ <3

Oh, yeah, and Nick has finally decided who he's cosplaying as ^___^ He's going to be Bradley! :D :D :D (Manga!Bradley. Because the lot of us are more familiar with the manga, really.) And Trevor's having issues. He no longer wants to be Armstrong =_= He'd rather be Scar. Unfortunately for him, we already have a Scar. Sorry, Trevor--you're out of luck! Maybe we can get him a short-haired wig and make him Havoc, instead...
