General Update
Aug. 5th, 2005 08:46 pmEvery time I sit down to make an update, I end up unable to think of how to phrase what I want to say. So I'll just skip it and cover the important bits for now.
Cosplay: Things are going relatively well ^_^ On the plus side, we've finished our Ed jacket (save the sigil on the back, which we'll get to soon) and Chris-senpai, our Roy, has taken the blue cloth home in order to work on his own uniform. On the minus side, we recently heard from Senpai that our Ed cosplayer seems to have cut her hair D: So we may be at least sort-of out an Ed. There is, of course, always the chance that it will grow back to a suitable length by the time September 9th rolls around, but I don't know how short she's cut it, so it may only be hope. Anyway, being out an Ed would really suck, because he's one of the three characters we need for our cosplay skit (the others having been written out for length (and possibly character) requirements--sorry, guys ^^;) In an emergency we might be able to find one at the con, but I don't like the idea of relying on that. Only saw three last year, one of which I only saw Friday, and another of which was already in the cosplay, so.
Ficcing: I've got plunnies lined up for all my Anniversary Challenges so far ^_^ (which is still open, if anyone's interested). I think I may actually get started writing them tonight, which is unusual, considering my normal habit of procrastinating. Still, I'm not complaining.
On that note, I re-read the piano killer arc in order to get to know the circumstances surrounding Asou Seiji again, and I have no idea how, considering the fact that he's tone-deaf, Shin'ichi could know what Seiji's last message was. This only goes to prove that I think too much.
Finally finished watching Marimite today ^__^ The ending filled my fluff-quota quite well, thanks for asking. Not quite sure how I feel about Touko. She's very ...blunt. And a little tactless. Still, I can't help wanting to like her. I hope I get an excuse to in the future.
Last thing, does anyone know how to turn off that auto-fill-in thing on Windows machines (or maybe it's Explorer exclusive)? It's really getting on my nerves.
