I gave into temptation today and googled my screenname. I learned several things.
First, some of my Inu-Yasha fics seem to have not only been archived but translated into a different language. At the moment I am more amused than anything (since it beats the alternative of being mad), though I'm also confused. ...On the other hand, it would explain that e-mail I got in what appeared to be Spanish a while ago (which I have, sadly, deleted, after leaving it in my inbox for several months, not knowing what it was). It also makes me sort-of itch to pick up that fic I abandoned about two years ago and re-write the darn thing, but I'm resisting that for now.
Secondly, Communications appears to have been recced with some very big names :) I found--and find--it incredibly flattering. And then I actually stopped to read what the person said about it.
Let me put it bluntly: I love the question mark after the WiP tag. A very succinct summary, followed by evidence that I may have managed one of my goals for this fic: to allow the chapters to stand more or less on their own while remaining part of a larger continuity. Right now, this person more than anyone else makes me want to finish this fic and stick a complete tag on it.
(Psst! Winter Holiday Gift Thing!)
