Feb. 14th, 2006 08:17 pmOkay, job applications? More stressful than expected. It does not help that my medication is running low. I'm currently working on the more 'creative' parts of the apps, and trying to think of references. (Dave? Mind if I put you down?)
Chocolates? Good for the soul. Really. But not too many at once, because, while good for the soul, it is bad for the stomach.
Valentines Day: Mom gave me a new interpretation. She said it never really struck her as a romantic holiday, but more as a 'friendly' one. She thinks it's because of all the valentines and so forth shared between friends when she was younger. I like this interpretation and will be claiming it for myself.
Dead Like Me? Good show. Lovely show. Better once George started, er, 'behaving', but good from the start too. Still need the second season so I can get images of that other guy--Trip? I found a screenshot site, but I'm only half-certain I'll be able to recognize him, and that is not the best for CFUD enabling.
Homework: Bad for the soul. Or at least bad for socchan's soul, because she hates it to death. She hopes it will go away and die, except not the Ann Zimmerman song way, because that's giving it too much... something.
Hickory nuts: Good stuff. Pleasent memories involved. Smell real nice. Currently have a new bag's worth and have cracked about a cup, which (I hope) will be enough for my possible Cabaret treat. Anyone know a good recipe for personal-sized cheesecakes? Like cupcake-sized or something, so I don't have to worry about forks and plates and stuff. Otherwise I'll probably go with peanut butter/chocolate dipped banana slices.
Lurker Day is just over the horizon. I should finish up that fic and get started on art.
And back to job applications I go.

Related, I'll probably get around to that writing style meme eventually.
Someday, I really do need to write about my love life. Just to state the facts.But I don't much look forward to the idea of dying.
Edit 2: You know what? Cancel that third point in the first edit. I just got most of my angst out in CFUD. Though I may still write an essay about it and submit it to a magazine or something.
