Ah, the joys of weather...
Feb. 12th, 2007 08:25 pmI wonder why it is that, every time I even think about declaring it the start of Dirty Snow Season, we get more snow? Or at least warnings for more snow? 'Cuz yeah, we've got warnings just now. Blowing snow or snowstorm for our county (I think) until about six pm tomorrow. Which will mean more shoveling for me, le sigh. And just when the old stuff was starting to melt, too. Yet more proof that who- or whatever's in charge of the weather has ADD. Oh, well. At least we won't have a drought this year.
Though, one does wonder if this'll finally be done by March or not. Because yeah, once or twice in my life, that whole "in like a lion, out like a lamb" cliché might be nice to follow for a change.
Anyway, if, for some otherwise inexplicable reason, I'm not on tomorrow, go ahead and assume it's because of snow. Though I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't start until tomorrow morning at eight, so I have to shovel at two again.
In other news, Singles Awareness Day cards are in the mail, and hopefully won't arrive too much after the day in question. I'm also working diligently on a short Tentacular comic for the event (which is turning out to be about the same length as the pilot, much to my surprise o_O) and some Rosalind/Tayuya art (CFUD) for the day after. Only Tayuya's even roughed in right now, but it still looks so pretty (to me) that I don't feel like drawing over it ^^a I'll probably end up scanning what I've got now so I can continue to work but still keep the image. It's hard to be an artist sometimes.
Edit: Also, for the people I tagged for Five things I don't talk about on LJ, sorry for not leaving a thorough and thought-out response to any entry yet ^^a After spending three hours this afternoon digging through back entries on the friends page and trying to find out what sort of fallout the Oscar-and-Kio thing was getting on CFUD, my brain was a teensy bit too fried for me to want to dig back through and find everything. So, uh, soon, I guess? If you want replies and stuff.
