Weekend stuff
Apr. 15th, 2007 04:15 pmHad a pretty productive Saturday, all told :3 Anime Iowa meeting went well, though a bunch of people were missing. Registration is up, and has been for some time now apparently, and here was me, not noticing ^^a That said, go check it out and consider it; if you can't get/afford a hotel room, I can probably put you up - as long as you don't mind camping, that is ^^a ...Er, not that this is definitely what will happen if you decide to take me up on the offer, just that it's certainly a likely possibility, especially if I get more than five people clamoring to stay with me/my family. If only two or three people want to take this option, we'll probably be able to put you up inside - especially if I already know you in person.
Moving right along, went to Wal*Mart with Chris and Joan after the meeting, where we picked out some cloth for a costume for Joan, and then ate at SubWay because we thought we had to be somewhere at five -_-a Which we actually didn't. Instead, the three of us headed to my house, where we proceeded to watch the first four episodes of Jubei-chan (and the Lovely Eyepatch(?)).
We followed this up by going to the City High production of Little Shop of Horrors, which was fantastic. Very well done on all accounts, I think. Made me wish I had smuggled in a video camera or something. After the play, we checked in back at my house, and then Chris and I went to drop Joan off. Chris dropped me off back at my house after that, and then presumably went to his own house.
Going to round out this entry with the happy announcement that I'll be setting up to sell CFUD t-shirts (at cost) sometime in the near future. If you're a fan, keep your eyes open, and hopefully I'll get a system of some sort up soon. (Note: it'll likely be check-or-money-order-only, with a possible side-order of cash, as I have no credit card, and thus no PayPal account.)
