Blargh weather -_-
Feb. 2nd, 2008 01:46 pmYou know, it's not so much the snow I mind. It's the fact that every time the weather dumps more on us, I have to shovel it again. On the plus side, if I actually do go after the driveway, I can usually get that nice 20 minutes of cardio-vascular activity out of the way; good for when cleaning is going slowly.
In other news, it appears to be Groundhog's Day! Gasp, shock, surprise! Okay no, I have no real comment on the holiday, aside from the whole astrological thing (I've developed quite a bit of affection for cross-quarter days, it seems). Don't care what the groundhog says, as long as it keeps snowing I'll keep being annoyed with the snow. The other thing Groundhog's Day means is that my BFF's birthday was yesterday, hooray! She just turned legal for alcohol in the US ♥ She also told me not to do/get her anything for her birthday, which I guess is just as well :/ I'd planned on doing something roundabout for her, but I seem to have run out of time, sigh. Next time, then.
We're also exactly one month away from Spring Lurker Day! Whiiiich maybe twenty people in the world care about, but I'm one of them, so it's okay :3b
My aunt from Texas (same one I went to visit over Thanksgiving) is in the area, so she's going to try and visit when she gets some time. I hope I'll be able to introduce her to Conan and Doyle.
And that's about it, really. Well, aside from the desire for more money in order to buy fandom-ish things. But that's nothing new.
