ABC is showing the original Power Ranger episodes. I'm watching the second one now.
Backstory! When I was wee, and the show was first on, I never got to watch. I think I only ever saw six episodes (plus the first movie)? It wasn't my first experience having a cultural rift between me and my peers, as I'd also never gotten to see much of TMNT even before then, but it helped establish the trend. It's something of an experience to finally be watching it now.
As for the show itself, it's very...
Well, words fail me. But at least I may finally get all the cultural references I missed in, uh. First and second grade ._.a
...This is totally a legit way of reclaiming my lost childhood, I'm sure.
In other news, gave blood this morning! Had pretty much my worst reaction in my entire donation history, bar that one time I actually blacked out. It's certainly my longest recovery period. The donation itself finished up way more quickly than usual, in just five minutes, but seeing as I then spent the next seventy minutes in the donation chair, sixty of those fully reclined, and then twenty minutes after I finally could move at the recovery/cookies-and-drinks table, I'd say it could probably tie for first. When I was at last able to leave, I followed that performance up by getting winded and dizzy by climbing the stairs to my apartment. And that was after a good six cookies and two cans of raspberry ice tea. I guess I'll be taking it easy today ^^a
