Life-ish update-ness
Mar. 29th, 2010 09:55 pmSo yeah! Posting, it hasn't happened for the last week and a half -_-a Stuff kept on happening, I was just not much with the writing about it. So instead I will sum up :Db
* Weekend before the most recent, there was snow. GASP. Except I was not actually surprised, because there is always a March snowstorm in Iowa. It's practically a universal constant. The only way we could've gotten out of one this year is if the Early October Snow (which I had never experienced before, IIRC) of last year were to cancel it out - which, clearly, it didn't. Therefore: March snow.
* Most recent Thursday: ( I was chewed out by some civilian driver while on route )
* Friday, most recent: I saw a garter snake while on my almost-daily walk! More than the blooming of the little blue flowers whose name I have completely undermined my confidence in spelling correctly, more than robins and daffodils and violets, this told me it is indeed spring: the cold-blooded reptiles are coming out of hibernation! (The frogs were also a good hint, but it was still pretty damn cool to see.)
* Past few weeks in general: I'm on a Tamora Pierce re-reading spree! Tortall first, then the Circle of Magic universe. Mmmmm, good stuff ♥ Managed to finish off several books in a single day each, though I haven't exactly kept the pace, 'specially with HG/SS out. Still, might make it through everything by summer; reading ahoy!
What does tomorrow hold, aside from another day of work, more Pokémon junkie-ness, and the rest of Lady Knight? Who knows :P Guess I'll find out when I get there.
