Very short to-do list
Jan. 12th, 2011 10:47 pm1) Finish crocheting a plush of this crabby thing over here on time for my brother's birthday on Friday. I'm making it with retrievable arms even, but I have no idea how to do his hair. Do I just do my normal "attach it like a rug and brush it out then add points" technique? Am I gong to need to crochet individual hair spikes? Or should I go for the comparably easy option and just make it out of felt or something? ARGH. Also, I need at least one more shade of orange for the horns, nubby though they may be.
1a) Though, speaking of colors, if Roommate J could please stop trying to get me to change things to purple for "artistic interpretation", I would appreciate it very much.
2) Once aforementioned plush is finished, sign up on the damn MSPA forums and possibly see about selling Squiddle amigurumi. (It seems like a feasible thing apparently! Plus, money to pay rent and stuff = good.)
2a) If at all possible, beforehand: figure out a faster Squiddle pattern, because the sc version takes me three hours; and/or figure out a "mini Squiddle" pattern, because that's bound to be faster regardless.
I've got DVDs that'll hopefully at least get me through Karkat's torso tonight. Not sure if that's with or without arms yet, but at least it'll be with the arm slot, if nothing else. No clue about when I can start on Squiddle stuff.
And now... Crochet time >:)
