Just another update
Aug. 26th, 2011 11:48 pmHey folks - especially new folks via the Homestuck Friending Meme :) I actually still haven't gone through the comments on that in the depth I feel is warranted (there are potential amazing friend matches for me buried in there and I may never know), but I don't know that I'll be getting to that tonight or tomorrow, so a hearty hello to those who are already here :)
This is a boring update! I will mostly be talking about things I should be doing and whether or not I've started them yet.
* Today I got the main body of work done on Mechazawa Beta. And then I took what I had intended to be a short break, except Mom took my brother and me shopping for nice clothes for a wedding we'll be going to in a week-ish and I got distracted by some of my purchases. Mostly the book, since I can "watch" the DVD while crocheting.
* That doesn't matter much, though, because I was pretty much done with the work I was going to do on Beta-kun for today anyway; I've got someone lined up who wants to buy a crocheted Perry off of me, and I'm potentially seeing them at two o'clock tomorrow. I wouldn't be quite as worried about finishing on time, except...
* Tomorrow my Dad and I are going to go pick up one of my younger cousins from the airport (he'll be traveling with us to the wedding), and while in town we'll be stopping at Half Price Books! We'll be leaving at ten o'clock, if not earlier, the plane is supposed to arrive at around twelve forty-five, and the meeting is at two. I can probably manage to finish up the new Perry by the end of the meeting, at least, but I still don't like to rush quite that much.
* I'll also be making this Perry from scratch. I mean, not that I didn't make the previous one(s) from scratch, but I'll be starting a brand new pattern from scratch as well. ...And then there's potentially a couple of things I'm possibly going to see if I can't arrange as prizes for Redheart's Roundup, 'cuz Doctor Whoof was more than half finished anyway, and why not make a smaller pony pattern since I was sure it was going to be a lot less work (it was), and I don't want to add insult to injury and cut off the folks who are disqualified from giving blood, and while I'm at it, why not see if I can't rope "my" local blood center in on things with a mini Derpy, and... Yeah, I'm WAY too nice. Generous. Whatever. Sob sob SOMEONE HELP ME QUIT sob sob sob.
* All that, plus any other projects I listed in yesterday's post, plus a good five things I want to fill for Homesmut (three of them sooner than later), plus getting an energy boost for Tidekiller after who knows how long...
Really, it's not that I don't have the time or motivation for all of these projects, it's that I need to apply it better.
Welp, time to pop in Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension, so I can watch Perry while making Perry. I love doing stuff like that :3b
EDIT: aewoigva;lesdjs;fds cannot believe I forgot. All my good thoughts are with you folks in hurricane danger :( I hope you all get through everything okay!
Edit 2: (Unrelated to Edit 1) Sweet mother of fuck, [convention person], you are made of verbal overkill. I do not want to have to fucking copy-paste an e-mail from you to escape the Never Ending Wall Of Text through personal editing. And I thought you could be bad at meetings...!
...Going to sleep now, so I will hopefully be less grumpy/more coherent. I'm sorry, Perry (and potentially Perry Fan), you're going to have to wait a little longer.
