General RL update
Sep. 17th, 2012 01:25 pmFinally sent off the all-important "I have ADHD" message to my Financial Accounting teacher yesterday. I really did think I was doing fine on my current meds, but I guess I have to remember that meds only make my ADHD more manageable. I got a response back, and it's promising; turns out her son also has ADHD, so she's totally sympathetic. Yay!
I still need to set up an appointment with a counselor to talk about other/related things I can do for help, but this is definitely a good start.
On a related note, I've been encouraged by both a classmate and the teacher of Hospitality Math to apply for a position as a paid tutor. I am so on that tomorrow.
In different news, I've finished what I'm pretty sure is the first actual chapter of a fic I'm calling Cinderkat until/unless I can come up with a better name for it. The chapter looks to be over 2000 words from my rough longhand-to-typing estimate; I've got some more sorting out and plotting to do in the fic, and I'm sincerely wondering if the actual get-together will even happen in this fic - though there's a potential sequel, so I suppose my bases are vaguely covered if it doesn't. Part Four of Pheromone Woes is also coming along nicely, though perhaps a bit more slowly because I feel more awkward writing explicit xeno-lesbian sex before class than I did the non-explicit stuff :P Edit: Part three of Pheromone Woes is now up :Db [/edit]
And I think that's it for now. Time to respond to my FA teacher and get to work on FA homework that's due tonight /)_(\
