Jan. 17th, 2018 10:40 pmI finished that scene at crafting tonight! \o/ My very early interpersonal interactions did suffer a bit because of it, but I was fairly quick, so I got on to making actual conversation in relatively short order.
The scene did end up having a couple of lines in it on paper that I regret, and am going to viciously remove when typing it up. They seem fairly realistic, but they're a microaggression, and fuck it, I don't have to include them if I don't want to. If I'm writing this for me, I am damn well going to exclude something that makes me unhappy or worry too much. I'm still going to want a polyam sensitivity reader, but I'm already feeling better for this decision. If anyone complains that it isn't there, they can fuck directly off. I'm writing something that makes me happy, and that's what I care about right now.
