So. Much. Fricking. SNOW.
Feb. 5th, 2021 08:27 amIt's not that I'm not used to heavy snow in the winter; it's that I'm not used to this level of heavy snow, or this frequency. Usually, we get a fair dumping of snow on us, and then it just kinda... sticks around. Especially over the past few years we've had intermittent warm periods where it would snow, and then it would melt, and then it might snow again.
This winter, though? Nope! It snows, then it snows some more, then it snows again, and then, just to mix things up a bit, it rains and then it snows over the rain (which has frozen). We also don't usually start out with such a deep snow, either. It would be more difficult to keep up with if not for our very kind and benevolent neighbors, who have graciously been snow-blowing our driveway and sidewalk for us, but I've gotten entirely over making thank-you treats every week. What's worse is, if I were to make them treats for every time they clean up snow for us? I'd be making something twice a week. It's less exhausting than shoveling myself, but still!
Weather. Weather, can you please give us a teeny, tiny break for a bit, maybe? Just a couple weeks off, that's all I ask. You can even snow a little bit, as long as it's not enough to really build up on the sidewalks or anything!
sigh
