Searching for a word or phrase

Okay, so you know that phenomenon where you find something (a book or movie or TV series or podcast or the works of a particular fan author, etc) where it seems tailor made to your interests, but something about it just... doesn't quite work for you? Not anything you can quite put your finger on, not even anything that you can point to as specifically wrong with whatever-it-is, it just didn't "click" despite all the ways it should be perfect for you.

Anyone know if there's a name for that phenomenon? Because if not, I'll be looking to come up with one. Damned if I have any ideas yet, but it'll be good work or shower meditation.
