Manga and more Magical Girl Icka stuff (I bet you're already tired of it)

Went to Waldenbooks again today. Was once again caught by the 'Buy three, get the fourth (of equal or lesser cost) free!' deal. Purchased Van Von Hunter 1 and 2, Princess Tutu 1, and Steady Beat 1. Was pleasantly surprised when the cashier not only counted all of them for my manga card (buy 10 graphic novels, get $10 off your next manga purchase!) but that my manga card, which was subsequently filled up by the purchase, was counted towards the purchase as well! I ended up spending only $20 for four graphic novels. This has made me a very happy fangirl indeed ^__^

In other news, more squid stuff!



This is Magical Girl Icka's 'Princess dress', for lack of a better term. You know how magical girls get a new wardrobe when they power-up? Yeah. That's this.

This is actually a recycled design idea from when the main villainess was still going to be cephalopod-themed. Well, sans wings and extra tentacles. Now that she's ferret-themed, I'm at a bit of a loss for what to do--but I shouldn't be for too long. Color-coding can go a long way. Anyway, was going to do a powered-up version of the squid wand as well, but couldn't think of anything to do. So you're stuck with this.

Once again, major artistic liberties taken. If you see a mistake or something, lemme know so I can fix it. 'Kay?

Socchan: =_= She looks too much like Rinko (of CFUD/Law of Ueki). 'Specially in the icons where Rinko has long hair.

Oh, also, there's some stuff that I want to know about the story. So, creative team! Lurkers! Anyone else who feels they should have a say! Go vote and tell me what you think. Ticky boxes are used in case your answer falls between two or more. I'll abuse the creative team into helping me decide what to do based on votes and arguments and so forth.

Yeah, I kinda agree. Thankfully, the short skirt is her 'battle outfit', so I'll be drawing it more. This one is just for special occasions. (You familiar with Sailor Moon? If so, this is like the title character's dress when she goes into Princess Serenity mode, which doesn't happen often.)

To tell the truth, the Communications plunny was nibbling right up until my inspiration was stolen by this Magical Girl Icka thing =_= Now it's still nibbling, but it's not as loud.
