Okay, so, I'm through episode fifty-nine, and so far (from what I've noticed), there have been two items For Maou Use Only (so I can't remember the official name, STFU): a sword and a flute/recorder (on which Yuuri played Little Brown Jug, WTF). Both of these are rather phallic objects. Anyone else noticing a trend here? Who wants to make bets on the next Maou Only Object?

Anyway, the more serious stuff now which has probably already been beaten to death on the 'coms by now, but I don't watch them, so I feel justified in doing so here. Like Human and Mazoku bloodlines. How does this work? I mean breeding-wise and genetics-wise. Are hybreds usually considered more human or more mazoku? Or does it depend? And if a hybred breeds with a full blood, would the child inheiret the blood proportionally (75% of one and 25% of the other) or would it be more of a half-and-half thing (one gene from each parent, either human or mazoku)? If it's the former, would the child be considered whichever race it has more blood from, or would it be choice? Could the breeding eventually get to the point that any blood of one particular race an individual has would be negligible? If there was enough breeding between species going on, would there eventually be only one race?

Also, the rampant m-preg thing going on in fics (and the mention of it in CFUD, as well as Gwendal's period occuring, etc). Is this canon and something I just didn't notice, or just fanon (so far)? Need to know T^T

As far as 'shipping goes, I'm leaning towards Wolfram and Yuuri, but I've got Conrad/Wolfram creeping up on me from behind. It's really attractive to me for some reason. It pushes my pairing buttons in ways that Yuuram doesn't--but I also get the sense that I'd be really picky about how it was written. Things like incest can, I imagine, be beaten to death in fics. (Case in point, sexuality exploration in fics. Every time I read a fic about Male Character A falling for Male Character B and MCA goes on about his sexuality and he's never noticed guys before and maybe he's gay and it takes more than a full paragraph and it's not the point of the story, I have to resist the urge to start tearing my hair out again. For one thing, I'm tired of reading about it. For another, what the feck happened to bisexuality, huh? Do we even get a mention, or do you just skip over us like so many before?) If the handling of that issue and the characterization wasn't just right, I'd probably end up leaving a lot of fics.

To tell the truth, Wolfram and Yuuri bother me too; just in different ways from anyone else and Yuuri. Conrad and Yuuri have that Julia thing to deal with, which really does bother me. There's the whole nurture-versus-nature issue, for one thing, and the nature of Conrad's relationship with Julia being fairly ambiguous for another. Gunter and Gwendal just seem a little old for him ^^; Plus there was that whole crown thing. Yozak just seems... no, I just don't see it. And I don't see Yuuri and Murata, either, possibly for similar reasons to Conrad, and possibly because I just seem to get too much of a 'friends' vibe from them. Wolfram really only has two things going for him at the moment: there's no age or soul issues, and the 'fiance' thing, which I probably take a little too seriously. Still, he doesn't really act like he loves Yuuri that much, I think. There's not enough touching, and he's a little brash. These are things I can mostly brush off as uncertainty or nervousness, but they do still bother me. Bah, I'll sort things out eventually.


On a related note, can anyone reccomend a good bittorent client? Because I've now finished all of the KKM episodes I have, and really like where the current arc is and really want to see what's going to happen next, and have my doubts that Wolfram-mun (wonderful though she is) will be posting any more episodes, so I think I'll have to get it myself. Yeah, so. Any suggestions? (Important features are 'free' and 'easy-to-use'.)


Something different now.

See, I was thinking the other night about the fic I'm going to be posting for Lurker Day (which has had at least five people express interest and two even go so far as to make posts about it ^.^ ♥ Keep spreading the love, guys!). I'm planning to go through with that xxxHolic Donuts one-two punch of archery-themed UST and smut (half for each). (Also planning to do some DC/MK art, since that's the fandom most people know me for.) Thing is, I still need a title for it. Something archery-themed, preferably. Sadly, I couldn't come up with much. One of the worse ideas was, in fact, Archery. Which mutated to Archer.

Which, Bleach Weekend having been fairly recent at CFUD, made me think Quincy Archer.

Which I was going to brush off before I thought, well, it is sorta true. Doumeki does sorta do the whole extermination-through-archery thing, semi-intangible bow and arrows and all. And Ishida is sorta really gay. And yeah, I could completely see Yuuko giving Watanuki shinigami powers to combat the things that are following him and Doumeki just sorta helping out 'cuz he's like that, Quincy politics be damned.

And so a fusion plunny was born. Now just watch me not write it!

D: There, there. Once you get your computer back, you can join campersfuckoff and ask Wolfram-mun (also Aziraphale-mun) to reupload stuff. Or you can go about your usual method, whatever that may be. I'd offer to upload to YSI myself, but my internet connection, she is fickle. I need an upload manager as well as a download manager. Does such a thing even exist?
