A Spot of Bad News

Regretably, it seems that a pipe burst in Mr. Koepnick's greenhouse over the (long (for some people)) weekend. Most of the plants were lost, though the Christmas Cactus survives. (Thankfully, the cupboard that the birds were stored in remained airtight, though there's still much work to be done.) This includes the jewel plant that he was going to use for the Advanced Honors Biology botany unit. So, if anyone out there on my f'list (I'm looking at you, lightningceder) was in Advanced Honors Bio at City High at some point and their jewel plant from class is still growing, could you bring in a clipping or two to Mr. Koepnick? I'm sure he'd really appreciate it.

That's fine; I didn't exactly do any better. *is not too good with growing things* It was mostly a half-formed hope anyway.

I didn't think you were really expecting much. But stuff usualy ends up dead even faster, I was surprised it lasted as long as it did.
