Whee, updating spree!

Anyway, fic stuff. My fic for Lurker Day is now about 25% complete. My picture is something like 33% complete, but that's just because I have an image in mind for it now. I've probably only done 25% of the total time for it.

Also, Kingdom Hearts plunnies are attacking in force. Mostly Riku-centric. Why is he so easy to write? Is it some angsty bishounen thing? And I shouldn't be on a KH fit, I should be on a DC/MK fit! Communications needs to be written, darnit! Though I suppose it doesn't help that Ai wants another chapter right now and we just had one last time and I had planned on it being Heiji's turn and whatnot. *sighs* Maybe I'll be able to distract them both with Akako and get things straightened out so the story flows better.

General word to candy__chan's V-day rant. I have hereby decided to start celebrating the true meaning of Valentine's Day, and to help spread the spirit! And no, I was not visited by the three naked cherubs of Past, Present and Future, thank you very much.

On that note, I feel that I should mention that I am named after my great aunt, who (my mom frequently reminds me) was well known for saying, "There are worse things than having 'miss' on your gravestone." Mom generally encouraged me during that brief period when I felt the social pressure to get a significant other of some sort, and continues to do so.

Edit: Also, that Bleach/Naruto amalgam I keep thinking about but haven't actually gotten around to writing yet, CFUD feeding my plunnies be damned... See, I have this issue with it. There's something that it wants to do that would make the mix more... seamless, I suppose, but it would involve substituting one character for another. And I could write it, it's just that the substitution could result in more than a few people after my blood D: Help plz?

Edit 2: Okay, I think I figured it out. I can have the character I wanted to sub to take the other character's place for a very short time, like sick leave or something, and then I'll be able to get what I want without having to deal with rabid, angry fangirls! Probably!

Edit 3: Jevaaaaa TT_TT I seem to have lost my copy of that conversation we had about the Yon/Kyuu AU D: Do you, perchance, have a copy? *crosses her fingers and hopes and prays*

Your great-aunt shares a very wise sentiment, indeed. And thank goodness for encouraging mothers *hugs Mommy* I want to be just like her someday (when I grow up?)

Lurker Day approaches! Amanda--my friend with the Xanga--is very much excited about spreading the Lurker Day love on Xanga. I'm looking forward to it *Candy looks at list of LJ people she stalks lurks on* Gonna be a busy day... ^_^

Yup, yup. *nods sagely* And yes, very much so! And also for encouraging psychologists. Mine said she was happy I was tall because that meant that boys were less likely to approach me ^__^

All hail Lurker Day! Or something. And I really am going to have to collect those links eventually... I don't have a lot, but I am going to delurk where I feel the need. And delurk where I don't feel as much need--there's a couple of places that I count because I don't say much and not because I've never said anything.
