Kuroba Kaito was hunting. He swept silently from room to room, seeking his prey. At last he found it sitting quietly in the kitchen, illuminated by moonlight.

He snuck up behind it, reached out, and attacked, sinking his fangs into his victim's neck.

Suddenly the lights were switched on and Kaito sensed two presences behind him. He turned slowly to see Aoko and Hakuba standing in the kitchen doorway. "Kuroba," Hakuba said slowly, "What are you doing with the chocolate syrup bottle?"

Kaito clutched the large bottle of Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate Syrup close to his chest and pouted. "Mine!"

Not just because chocolate sauce was used in old movies for blood. But mostly because of that.

Also wanted to draw it, but my art skills weren't cooperating. Heck, my pencil skills weren't cooperating, and I ended up having to write it directly on the computer. I usually go with longhand.
