1. When did you start drawing?
I can't realistically say I've been drawing all my life, but my mother tells me I was drawing coherantly [drawing recognizable objects] by the time I was three. So I guess since a little before then?
2. If you had to choose to give up one for life, which would it be: drawling or writing?
>_< Ouch. Hard choice. I'd probably give up drawing. I can still probably tell stories either way, but with drawing I'm more likely to end up just interpreting someone else's work, and with writing I can at least use a lot of visual descriptions. Which I tend to use as something of a crutch anyway...
3. If you could pick one character to meet, who would it be and why?
Probably Yuuko from xxxHolic. For one thing, she seems like a really interesting person to talk to. For another, it would mean that I was potentially going to get a wish come true.
4. What do you want to accomplish in life?
Hmmmm... I want to tell stories. Mostly my own. Better still if I can do it with visual accompaniments. So becoming a manga-ka is way up there on my 'I want to be a ___' list.
5. What's one thing you love about yourself?
I love my memory. It's very good, and if I concentrate, I can turn it on and off like a lightswitch. It tends to be very helpful when remembering little details for fics and so forth.

Oooo, tough choice. I think Riku is probably my favorite to work with, writing-wise. Kairi's probably my favorite to draw, but I haven't really tried drawing the 'new' cast yet. Extra love goes to the entire cast of Nobodies, because I amnot so secretly romantic and wibble over them.
2. If you could meet the creator of anything, who/what would it be?
I think I would like to meet... Mokona! Because he created stuff in the Magic Knight Rayearth canon! Or possibly Clow :3 ...On a more realistic side, I think I'd like to meet ...I don't know, really ^^; I mean, a part of me really wants my heros to just remain heros. I guess maybe Terry Pratchett?
3. Radio, MP3 player, or CDs?
Radio, because I can get variety off of it, and change the channel if I don't like it. Or turn it off. And because the commercials on our college radio station are awesome ¦D
4. What's your favorite animated movie?
-Probably- Porco Rosso by Miyazaki. Because Porco is just ♥
5. Would you rather eat a squirrel or 3-day-old macaroni?
It depends on how the squirrel was prepared, I think. I'm rather fond of refridgerated macaroni, but I don't think I'd mind at least trying squirrel.

I have one younger brother who is wonderful to me :3 He has been known to inspire many bad ideas in me, as well as not play Kingdom Hearts II when I'm away so I was able to watch pretty much the whole thing without playing myself ♥ He is sixteen, andnekokenchan says he's good-looking :O
2. What word do you say most often?
Probably 'uh' or 'um'. Recently, though, I've been using 'wonderful', 'awesome', and 'amazing', especially when following 'full of'.
3. What are you like when you're mad?
I tend to get loud and stubborn :/ I scowl and clench my teeth and fists really hard. Sometimes I cry when I'm especially stressed, but that hasn't happened in a long while. When it gets that bad, it's sometimes even accompanied by screaming and lashing out. Mostly I try not to get mad at all, though ^^;
4. How long has your longest friendship been?
I've knownnekokenchan since first grade. We were so stuck on each other that people have been known to mistake one of us for the other despite the fact that we look very little alike. We kinda drifted apart a little starting in Jr. High, mostly due to not having as much time to hang out together.
5. What's your favorite meal?
I'd say one of the fish combos at J's Fish and Chips, though the sesame shrimp at Taste of Chine comes in at a close second ♥ Or possibly the combo at Rockfish, with one of their desserts. *melts at the thought*

1. If you were stranded on a desert island and you could only have one anime/manga character as a companion, who and why?
Who to choose, who to choose...? Probably Edward Elric of FMA. Because he would be fun to wind up, I almost certainly wouldn't have to worry about getting into a relationship with him, and I could learn a lot from him. Also, he'd probably be able to construct a boat or raft pretty easily if we ever felt like getting out of there.
2.Ideal vacation?
I want to take the CHS Europe tour with friends again! And while I'm at it, I wanna stop through Denmark to visit MoF ;) And maybe visit a few other internet friends while I'm in the area. A trip on the Road to Santiago might be nice, too.
3. Weirdest dream?
...XD I can't remember right now. I freqently remember my dreams, so choosing one that seems weirder than the others can be difficult. I suppose the strangest one I can remember was something where I was in a park with a bunch of anime characters and we were doing ...something. I think we were setting up for a party of some sort? Anyway, at one point I realized that I was actually dreaming, and then I kinda had a nervous breakdown in the dream. A bunch of bishilicious characters came up to me and comforted me when this happened, and one of them (a leader of some sort? I don't think I recognized him from an actual series) told me that I had a choice: either I could take control of the dream since I knew what it was, or I could forget that it was a dream and it could continue more-or-less as 'planned'. I swallowed my tears and sniffled and chose to forget that I was dreaming again. The bishies dispersed, and there was a few more minutes of activity in the park, and then it turned into something else. I think I was either Conan or Ai for the rest of the dream, and I spent most of it looking for a cure or something ^^a And that's how I found out that I wouldn't make a good lucid dreamer :D
4. Ideal significant other?
I want ... someone who flatters and teases me XD Someone I can have arguments with and still make up with afterwards. Basically, someone who's a lot like a companion. Someone who sticks by me, and knows when to push me to stand on my own. Someone who can be responsible when I'm a flake and won't get too angry when it happens ^^;;; Definitely someone who doesn't mind my anime fixation. Possibly someone with a playful side. Still not sure whether I'd want an open or exclusive relationship, though :/ A lot of that may be subject to change, and some of those are more for one gender than another (as I am still Bisexual Unless Proven Otherwise).

Attempt to establish some sort of communication. Spend a year or two learning about their culture, because wow, fascinating much? At the same time, do everything I can to learn about human culture and history, because they're bound to want to know some stuff. Make sure they are familiar with such concepts as humor, lies, acting, and their antithesies. Lots and lots of human psychology for them. Lots and lots of whatever-species-this-is psychology for me. Contact the CDC--pathogens are serious business, yo; 'specially interplantetary pathogens.
2. You're given the chance to know the date, circumstances and reason for your death, whenever it might be-- but you have to agree not to try to change it, in exchange for the knowledge. Do you accept it or not?
Nope. If I can't do anything to change/prevent it, then I may as well not know. If it's good, I'll be pleasantly surprised. If it's bad, I won't spend years and years moping about it/the inescapability of fate, etc. ...Wouldn't be terribly averse to a near-death situation, tho.
3. When you picture yourself in your head, what do you look like? Are you the age you are now, can you see your face, what clothes, etc.
At the moment? About the size/age I am now, baggy clothes (white t-shirt with some design on the front, blue non-flare jeans, tennis shoes), hair in a pony-tail and hanging over one shoulder, glasses. Facial features are indistinct. Outline is slightly blurry. Hands are clasped behind my back.
4. You are given the ability to transform into a mythological critter each month during the full moon-- any mythological critter. What do you choose to become?
I was thinking griffin until I remembered tengu :3 So tengu it is, probably.And then I'll sneak east and freak out some people in New Jersey :DDD Griffin is my back-up, though.
5. Taaadaaaaaa! You've just won the lottery! What are the first three actions you do after finding out?
1. Obligatory song-and-dance ruitine. Yee-haw, lots and lots of money! (I will have decided in advance to take the 'payment over x years' option instead of all at once.)

3. Anime/manga shopping spree FTW! I will treat myself to an incredible amount of anime and manga.

Date: 2006-04-19 10:49 pm (UTC)If it's not Sora, then it's one of the more minor characters. You know the ones they <SPOILER>killed off<END SPOILER>. As you probably know, Axel's been the top, because omg I love characters with fire powers. :D Recently, however, it's been shifting a little, over to Demyx. Music is my life, so I appreciate a character that has an affinity to music. I think they could have expanded a bit on all of the Organization, and I would have loved to know more about Demyx. Also, is it weird that I want to hear him sing? ^^;
2. Ha. I alternate, actually. I don't have a "most often" because I switch back and forth. The only sandwiches I make myself are either ham and cheese w/mayo, ham and cheese w/o mayo, turkey and cheese w/mayo, or turkey and cheese w/o mayo. Sometimes I'll spice it up and put turkey AND ham, but. XD; Otherwise, I am a very boring sandwich maker.
3. Actually, I'm not sure I know. XD Probably one of the many times I've forgotten which person I talked to something about.
4. Ahh... I guess my big one would be to become a voice actress. If not a VA, then something to do with the voice or music. Basically, I'd like any career where I have to use my voice artistically, whether it be as a voice actress, singer, vocal instructor, what have you.
A smaller goal is to go to Japan. :D
5. Right now? As in, this very second? Because that's about how often they change. XD Really, my favorite pairing tends to be in whatever fandom I LAST partook of. Even as such, I often have difficulties choosing "favorites". BUT we'll go with Riku/Sora (or the other way around) because it's the easiest.
This pairing has more subtext than any non-BL fandom I've ever seen EVER. I mean, the hand on the ass thing? Seroiously. Also, the fall-to-knees-crying-"I searched EVERYWHERE for you! D:" thing. This pairing is about .00001mm away from canon. All we need for it to be canon is a confession or an on-screen kiss. XD;
...And I have realized from this that I tend to be a very indecisive person. :/;;
