Thoughts from a tired brain

Okay, I'm calling it. My brain has officially switched interest to Naruto and Kingdom Hearts. (Though wow do I ever fear searching for good stuff in the latter. *already has a system for the former*) I've also re-learned one of the hard lessons in my life: do not start a long story without a complete outline. It doesn't work very well. Anyway, I refuse to give up on Communications yet, and I'm definitely going to take care of the Yuri Exchange stuff (though God knows when =_= Please let it be soon, please please please), but other than that I'm probably not going to be doing much for DC/MK for at least a while ^^a (Brain: This is different from the way things are, how?) I'll still be keeping an eye on stuff--just not as intensively as a year or two ago. Now watch as my brain tries to contradict everything I just said :DDD

On a related note, I can't help hoping that the next CFUD app date isn't announced for another week or two :D;;; Much though I look forward to begging for characters, I seem to be doing more actual app writing without a set date. Go figure. Anyway, if I get done with lots of time, that means I'll have all that time to have people beta the hell out of it ^^v *is really, truly going to try with all her might to have a CFUD app finished this time*

Things I absolutely need to do before another day passes: E-mail my teacher back, e-mail councelor for the first time. Need to get this ADHD thing settled before the next time I have classes.

...I think I might have had more to talk about, but now I don't remember it. Oops?

Edit: Wouldn't you know it? And right after I decided "To hell with this, I'm going to bed early!" and hit the hay--only to toss and turn for another three hours or so. Clearly, the universe does not want me to get sleep.

I know :( I'm going to give it my best shot anyway, though! *has already said as much to Sora-mun* And I have ideas already, so :3 *knocks on wood and prays and stuff*

XD I've figured out that I'm a lot more lenient with borderline characterization/writing issues for starters, 'specially with the OTP. Um, there's a few writers I watch, and I've found that if I ignore most of the pairings that aren't my OTP, there's a lot less crap to sort out in AFF.net. And searching through the favorites of good authors on FF.net was very helpful for a while. At one time, I systematically went through all the complete stories starting here--got about to S or something. It helped that there were only two pages then ^^a That's really about it.

With Kingdom Hearts it's a lot less simple. For one thing, my OT3 has proven notoriously hard to find >:/ For another, I'm considerably more picky when it comes to writing and characterization issues of them.

Aw, no more MK fics for a while? I'm sad. But, I haven't been writing much myself lately-- I'm busybusybusy!-- so I guess I can't blame you. If you want a beta for your Naruto fics, I can do that, and I'd be willing to give your KH ones a try. I didn't get past the first couple hours of KH, though, so I don't know how much help I'd be.

Y'know what's really fun? Going to your stats page on fanfiction.net and seeing how many hits your stories have gotten. It's like, I have how many people reading this? WOW! (And why aren't they reviewing?)

Yeah, probably not :/ Still vaguely hoping to get another chapter of Communications done (two year anniversary coming up and all that), but it doesn't seem terribly likely at the moment. *sigh* Anyway, thanks for the offer ^_^ I'll be sure to send stuff your way if I get anything finished. (I'm also willing to point you to gamescripts and/or cutsceene downloads for KH, if you're interested.)
