CFUD App Blather

I'm about halfway through the first draft of my character application for CFUD. I can already tell what sort of reactions I would get if I just sent the finished version in as is: I'd probably only manage thirty percent "in" at best (most likely lower if they do another "(fandom I'm apping from) only" voting post). Reasons would probably be along the lines of "It wasn't really that funny/it was sort-of amusing, but I didn't get a good sense of character" etc. So I'm going to finish this draft and then look back to see if I can shove characterization into it anywhere, make it flow better, the works. I'll probably do a third draft of it just to be safe, and then see about getting the hell beta'd out of it >3

That being said, people who watch CFUD on my flist? Can I look to you for the first round of beta-ing? *Bambi eyes go here* Also, anyone else planning to app this round? :3

Aaaand, that's about it for now ^^a I'm off to hopefully volunteer at the Crisis Center, because I need more structure in my life :P Probably gonna juggle between downloading Law of Ueki episodes re-reading CFUD apps from the last round and reading CFUD itself. Second Mandatory Nude Day, after all ♥

Yeah, I use that too! Unfortunately it doesn't get into friendslocked entries, but most of CFUD is open, soo...

Very useful site, yes. Didn't know that about locked entries, though; my school allowed LJ.

Lucky. Times like this I hate my school's Internet. They blocked FileFront (no game downloads) and even blocked Yahoo for a time (wtf?).

*shrugs* They didn't let us download stuff, so it balances out, I suppose. And someone did once hack into the system and block the school's homepage :D;;
