Yet another CFUD shirt post

Right, so, I haven't finished the icon shirt yet (I'm thinking maybe a goat for the last image), but I was inspired last night for the last shirt :DD I think I may wear this one on Saturday.



Yes, that is supposed to be me. No, I don't look that good IRL, even as a silhouette. Still not quite sure about the t-shirt borders in the image. May take them out.

Of course, I am a little worried about copyright :/ I mean, having icons like this is one thing; actually ironing it onto a cotton t-shirt and wearing it around is another. It's for the purpose of parody, so I should technically be able to get away with it (Sluggy Freelance did, from what I know), but I don't know if a big corperation would crack down on it if I didn't jump through the right hoops. 'Specially since I tend to use Windows :D;;; I mean, I can hope they won't, since, hello, one teenaged girl with one t-shirt she made for herself at no profit, but they still aren't getting any money from it. If this image gets adopted for the official store, then it probably would be a good idea to look into those hoops. Mmmm, I love the smell of bureaucracy in the morning.

...Anyway, for CFUD fans, this idea was indeed inspired by iShine, and my vague plans to make an image for that. Though so far I have generally failed to locate a picture of Heine I'd like to use for such an image that would be larger than a standard LJ icon ^^a Still wanna do it, tho, so may end up just using the smaller images. Will probably post both of these to the OOC comm at the same time.

Yeah, I figured the 'not making a profit' part would probably be the biggest thing in my favor ^^ But it's good to know the other stuff is behind me, too. Though it is something to keep in mind if the design is ever used officially...

You will need the following things:
• an ink printer
• a plain t-shirt
• an iron
• a pillowcase
• a sheet iron-on transfer paper

If you have or can get/borrow these things, you can not only make your own, I will fully endorse you doing so! I'll send you the printable version and everything! Heck, I'll even change the background color if you so desire!

I shall be sure to let her know :DD *totally needs to introduce you two formally sometime, as she has seen you two comment with each other on CFUD* I am sorely tempted, if only so I can find out if this journal name has not yet been taken. And also because I miss having zombie accounts on CFUD and I am a bad, bad person. ...Also, it occurs to me that if you missed that, you might also have missed the fic I posted very shortly after your birthday but that's okay because it probably wasn't one of my best works anyway (a.k.a, it might've sucked :D;;;)?

In the directions I have it says you can't use an ironing board; you're supposed to iron over a heat-resistant smooth hard surface instead. The pillowcase goes under the t-shirt. ...I really have no idea why, but it seems to work?

I think Iruka's major moments are over by then. *is not positive, as she marathoned the manga the first time and hasn't really checked again since* It also depends on how you feel about spoilers and the like. Of course, there's no blaming you if you'd rather just sit and read ;)

I personally have no idea what CFUD is, but I have an unspoken affinity for 4-letter adjectives. Also the 37 comments caught my attention, and I thought I'd drop a line.
I've seen Pat maybe 3-4 times this summer so far, but none of them were for very long... gah, I'd like to know what you're up to, but... ever since I started working 40 hours a week, and renting my own apartment, my friends have made a sincere effort to turn my social life into one unending party. Not necessarily a bad thing, but my apartment now smells permanently of... smoke. I won't say what kind.
Hope you're having a nice summer, dear... maybe I'll show up at one of them there Anime-things sometime. You never know.

Aha! An opportunity to addict a friend! CFUD is short for campfuckudie. It's basically a giant crack RP in which characters from all different series are stuck in a giant zombie-filled camp because the camp director thinks one of them killed her fiance. I'd say more, but that might be less of an insentive to check it out and more of a deterrent ^^a
And yet I haven't seen you at all ;_; Not that I'm up to much. I'm vaguely looking for a job and mostly sitting around at the computer following the aforementioned RP
They are great fun, so I hope you get a chance to do so ^_^ (Anime Iowa is in Ceder Rapids on August 4-6, hint hint!)
